Argo Spot Ethanol Reverses Early Gain in Late Session Trade
Sources said spot ethanol at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in Chicago traded Friday afternoon at $1.4225 and $1.4205 gallon after being offered up to $1.44 gallon earlier. On Thursday, the biofuel was indexed at $1.4225 gallon. At least one source attributed the move lower to a major producer "keeping Argo artificially low."
