Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Prices Track Corn Futures Gains
U.S. spot ethanol prices ranged higher in thin trade Monday afternoon, with prompt supply at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in the Chicago market trading at $1.415 gallon for a gain of 2.5cts while March supply by barge at the New York Harbor traded at $1.51 gallon, up 1.5cts. Higher fuel-ethanol values were supported by corn futures on CBOT, with March corn futures rallying 3.6cts to a $3.67 gallon six-month spot high.
