Spot ethanol prices in the Chicago and New York Harbor cash markets were little changed Tuesday afternoon, with trade volume limited ahead of the weekly supply report from the Energy Information Administration.
Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo terminal located east of Chicago traded at $1.2825 and $1.2875 per gallon, up 0.25 cents, with ethanol under Rule 11 terms trading at $1.295 per gallon, down 0.5 cents. January supply in Chicago traded at a 3.0-cent discount to February delivered product. Ethanol barge delivered this month and in February to the New York Harbor was pegged unchanged at $1.42 per gallon.
