Spot Ethanol Prices Track Retreating Corn, RBOB Futures
Spot ethanol prices were discussed mostly weaker in the cash market Tuesday, pressured by lower corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade and New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures.
Prompt supply ethanol at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in the Chicago cash market traded four times at $1.59 and $1.595 per gallon for a loss of 1.0 cent on the session while any September supply product traded at $1.58 per gallon. September barged ethanol at the New York Harbor was pegged at $1.64 per gallon, down 2.0 cents.
