Spot Ethanol Prices Flat to Higher Early Monday
The cash market for fuel ethanol was flat to slightly higher in a lackluster session early Monday while ethanol paper prices were little changed.
In paper trade, Chicago Board of Trade June ethanol futures were little changed at $1.506 per gallon after reversing off a better than one-week spot high of $1.525 per gallon. CBOT corn futures eased while ranged higher New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures.

Prompt fuel ethanol supply at the Argo hub in the Chicago market traded early at $1.48 per gallon before being pegged at $1.485 per gallon, up 0.25 cent on the session.
Fuel ethanol under Rule 11 terms for shipment this week was discussed 1.5 cents higher at a $1.46 to $1.49 per gallon bid/ask spread. May ethanol barges at the New York Harbor were assessed at $1.53 per gallon, up 0.5 cent. Prompt supply ethanol in the Houston Ship Channel was assessed flat at $1.53 per gallon, up 1.5 cents.
