Physical fuel ethanol for prompt delivery at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in the Chicago cash market traded lower early in Tuesday's session, weighed down by a weakening New York Mercantile Exchange June RBOB futures contract.
Prompt Argo ethanol supply traded at $1.44 gallon, down 1.25cts on the session. On the East Coast, May barged fuel ethanol in the New York Harbor was assessed at $1.51 gallon, a penny down on the session.
Trade volume was thin ahead of Wednesday's ethanol supply data from the Energy Information Administration.
