Spot Ethanol Prices Higher in Chicago, Arizona, Washington
Cash values for prompt ethanol supply in the Chicago market and along the West Coast edged higher despite a weaker paper gasoline market while the corn paper market was little changed.
Today delivered ethanol supply at the Argo supply hub traded at $1.50 per gallon and discussed at a $1.50 to $1.51 per gallon bid/ask, up 0.5 cent.
Chicago ethanol traded under Rule 11 for this week shipment was discussed at a $1.46 to $1.49 per gallon bid/ask, up 0.5 cent. September barges at the New York Harbor traded at $1.56 per gallon, down 0.5 cent. Prompt supply in Phoenix, Arizona, traded at $1.58 per gallon, up 2.5 cents, while prompt supplied ethanol in Washington State was talked at a $1.59 to $1.625 per gallon bid/ask, up 2.75 cents.
