Spot ethanol prices were discussed mixed with an upside bias early Tuesday, with Chicago and New York values buoyed by modest gains for Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures.

Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo supply hub in the Chicago market was valued at $1.435 per gallon for a 1.0-cent gain. Chicago ethanol traded under Rule 11 for this week shipment was seen at a $1.415 per gallon, up 1.25 cents. New York Harbor ethanol barges were talked near $1.51 per gallon for a 1.38-cents gain. In the Southwest, prompt Arizona ethanol traded at $1.54 per gallon, down 6.0 cents. In the Pacific Northwest, prompt ethanol traded in Washington State at $1.57 per gallon, unchanged for the session.
