Short-term Demand Boosts Spot Ethanol Prices Monday
Spot ethanol prices edged higher in early trade, boosted by short-term demand at home and abroad. Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo supply hub in the Chicago market traded 2 cents higher at $1.615 gallon. July New York Harbor ethanol barges were talked at $1.6675 to $1.685 gallon bid/ask, up 3.38 cents. Arizona spot ethanol prices were talked at $1.695 to $1.705 gallon bid/ask, up 3.0 cents.
