Argo Spot Ethanol Prices Lifted by Higher Corn Futures

Spot ethanol prices traded 0.5cts higher at $1.55 and $1.555 per gallon at the Argo terminal near Chicago, boosted by gains for the Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures. Spot prices for prompt deliveries to the East Coast, the Southeast and the Pacific Northwest were flat to lower. Sources said a unit train has delivered supplies to Arizona, weakening prompt values. Trade volume was light as the market looks ahead to weekly supply data for ethanol due on Wednesday.
