Spot ethanol prices fell Friday in New York and other key regional hubs amid high supply and a pullback in other commodities and equities markets ahead of the weekend. Federal data showed nationwide ethanol stocks soared last week to a 17 million bbl 13-month high while East Coast supply rose to a 6.6 million bbl, fresh 10-month high. Prompt New York Harbor ethanol barges were bid at $2.39 gallon while offers were shown at $2.44 gallon, losing 4.5cts on the session.
