Spot ethanol and renewable credits rose early Tuesday on tight railcar availability that stirred concern product won't be delivered on schedule.

Ethanol for today delivery at Argo terminal near Chicago was talked at a $2.24 to $2.29 gallon bid/ask spread, up 3 cents, while August New York Harbor ethanol barge was discussed at a $2.46 to $2.50 gallon bid/ask spread, up 4 cents. Also, 2013 D6 RINs are up 3 cents at a 73 cents to 74 cents bid/ask spread.
