Spot Ethanol Prices Climb Amid Worries about Stocks

Spot ethanol prices rose early Tuesday on the back of higher corn futures and expectations data from the Energy Information Administration set for release Wednesday morning would show another weekly draw in U.S. ethanol stocks.

Trade sources also expect EIA data to show domestic production again ramped up, with the most recent data showing the run rate 9.4% lower than for the comparable year-ago period.
