The open, efficient workshop designed by Mark Barglof, of Burt, Iowa, is one of three featured in the Summer 2022 issue of Progressive Farmer.

While most of our news and content efforts at DTN are focused on digital platforms, like where you're reading right now, it's still a magical day when the latest Progressive Farmer magazine hits the mailbox. And as someone who'll never completely get the grease out of the creases in my hands, one of my favorite months is when the annual America's Best Shops issue hits the mailbox, as it has in mid-June.

The current Summer 2022 issue features three stellar workshops, including those from Nathan and Jessica Wentworth of Warrensburg, Illinois, Mark Barglof of Burt, Iowa, and Paul Tracy, who farms in Worth County, Missouri.

If you can put your hands on the issue, you'll be treated to the full breadth of Senior Editor Dan Miller's descriptions and excellent images from a variety of photographers. Dan and the art team at PF, led by the magazine's Art Director Brent Warren, always do a wonderful job of showing off the features of these shops. Makes you want to have a breakdown just to get to be able to work in there.

We'll begin featuring these workplaces on our digital platforms as well, starting June 24. Look for them in our Top Stories areas on our various websites and satellite venues.

You will also soon find the stories in our Magazine section, which is found on the home page navigation bar on DTNPF.com.

We hope they not only showcase the ingenuity and thoughtfulness of these farmers, but also help stimulate ideas for people thinking it's time to update the working and machinery storage on their operations.

Enjoy!
