Chicago, NYH Spot Ethanol Prices Spurred Higher by Corn Futures
U.S. spot ethanol prices trimmed early gains in afternoon trade Monday, with the cash markets in Chicago and the New York Harbor higher on support from a rally for Chicago Board of Trade May corn futures. Prompt fuel ethanol supply at Argo terminal traded 1.5cts higher at $1.565 and $1.57 gallon. In the rail market, ethanol under Rule 11 terms for shipment this week was talked 1.75cts higher at $1.5525 gallon. May barged fuel ethanol in the New York Harbor was pegged at $1.63 gallon, up 1.0cts on the session.
