NYH, Argo Spot Ethanol Prices Higher, Rail Market Lower
Spot ethanol prices were discussed slightly higher during a thinly traded early session in the New York Harbor and at Chicago's Argo terminal, boosted by short-covering in front of the weekend break, while the rail market softened this afternoon. Fuel ethanol traded under Rule 11 changed hands one penny lower at $1.575 gallon, said a source, while Argo prices were seen up 0.25cts at $1.605 gallon and the New York Harbor was assessed 2.0cts higher at $1.685 gallon.
