Spot Ethanol Prices Lifted by Corn Gains, Tight Supply
Spot ethanol prices continued higher early Thursday in line with rising corn futures after the USDA said U.S. corn export demand rose during the week-ended April 25.
Ethanol values were also supported by a federal report Wednesday showing ethanol supplies fell last week to their lowest level in about 18 months while implied demand edged up.
Supplies along the nation's coasts are down sharply, with East Coast stocks at a record low while West Coast supply fell to a two-month low.
