Key Spot Ethanol Prices Boosted by Bullish Supply Data

Spot ethanol prices rose in the East Coast and other regional hubs after the Energy Information Administration's data for the week-ended Apr. 26 detailed a 600,000 bbl or 3.2% drop in ethanol stocks to 17.0 million bbl, the lowest level since November 4, 2011, when supplies stood at 16.430 million bbl. At the current level, ethanol inventories are down 7% from a year earlier.
