NYH, Argo Spot Ethanol Trade Higher Early Monday
Spot ethanol prices traded higher Monday in Chicago and New York markets despite lower corn futures on the Chicago Board of Trade and RBOB futures on the New York Mercantile Exchange, with both commodities under pressure from elevated supply levels.
Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo supply hub in the Chicago market traded at $1.47 gallon, up 0.5cts on the day. July New York Harbor ethanol barges traded at $1.53 gallon, up 1.0cts. In the Texas Gulf Coast, Houston ethanol barges for July were pegged 1.0cts higher at $1.53 gallon.
