Spot ethanol prices were shallowly mixed in early trade Tuesday ahead of weekly ethanol supply data as well as a monthly corn supply report both set for release on Wednesday.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s December WASDE report is expected to show higher corn stocks, while the U.S. Energy Information Administration’s report for the week-ended Dec. 4 is expected to show a stock draw.

Prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo hub near Chicago was pegged at $1.46 per gallon, down 1.0 cent. New York Harbor December ethanol barge was discussed at $1.55 per gallon, up 0.5 cent, and northern California for this week shipment was offered at $1.59 per gallon, up 1.0 cent.
