Cash ethanol and Renewable Identification Numbers traded lower for the second straight day Friday after the Environmental Protection Agency issued its long-delayed biofuels mandate, setting volumes for renewable fuels lower than the Renewable Fuel Standard states.

Today transfer ethanol at the Argo supply hub traded at $1.55 per gallon, with June delivery trading at $1.54 and $1.53 per gallon for a loss of 1.5 cents. The 2015 D6 Renewable Identification Numbers traded from 60.0 cents down to 55.0 cents and last at 46.0 cents for a session loss of 13.5 cents. In the past two days, D6 2015 RIN values are down by a combined 20.5 cents or 30% from midweek.
