TREND: The trend in most active corn futures is sideways for now.
NONCOMMERCIAL OUTLOOK: Noncommercial corn traders held a net-long futures position of 64,177 contracts as of June 30 and were net-buyers of 5,844 contracts during the CFTC reporting period as traders were satisfied with the selloff through the previous month and looked to square positions ahead of month end as well as critical July weather for corn.
COMMERCIAL OUTLOOK: Commercial corn traders held a net-short position of 34,879 contracts as of June 30 and were net-sellers of 18,384 contracts through the CFTC reporting period.
