Good to very good demand for todays offering of yearlings that were mostly off grass and in light to moderate flesh condition. An active market on the yearlings with mostly order buyers competing with internet buyers. Yearling consignments were mostly tested open replacement heifer, a few consignments of yearlings steers and spayed heifers. Buyers remain cautions yet were wanting to buy cattle. Several consignments of spring born calves were met with less enthusiasm as most producers just aren't ready for a bawling calf. Recent rains in the area have slowed fall field work and greened pastures up. Warm dry forecast for the coming week.
