DTN/Progressive Farmer offers this two-minute walk-around of New Holland Ag's T7, 300-horsepower (PTO), Long Wheelbase (LWB) tractor with PLM Intelligence (see video on it at https://www.dtnpf.com/…).
Some of the tractor's highlights:
-- Delivers increased engine power with larger tires, but no increase at all in overall dimension. Ultimate Performance Density, New Holland calls it.
-- 6.7-liter FPT Industrial NEF 6 engine delivers 280 horsepower max power for draft work and 300 horsepower for PTO; max torque at 1,300 rpm.
-- 18% increased fuel capacity (123 gallons); decreased service intervals by 50% (compared to competitors).

-- Equipped with Tractor Implement Management (TIM), two-way communication between the tractor and implements. For example, Integrated Large Square Baler Control with this tractor reduced cab movement by 15% and fuel consumption 12%, while maintaining PTO speed.
-- T7.300 LWB tractor mounts PLM Intelligence system, connects operators and farmers. Includes IntelliView monitor for view of the fieldwork ahead; IntelliSteer autosteering, IntelliTurn automated end-of-row turning.
-- Main connection panel contains ISOBUS, camera and power connectors; multiple USB charging ports and DC power outlet located around cab.
