AGCO TAKES SEVEN AE50 AWARDS

AGCO Corporation has earned seven AE50 Awards from the American Society of Agricultural and Biological Engineers (ASABE) for 2022. Each year, ASABE selects 50 products from the agricultural, food and biological industries to recognize for innovation, engineering advancement, and impact on their markets.

The 2022 AE50 Award-winning products from AGCO are:

-- Fendt Rogator 900 Series Applicator. The Rogator 900 is a self-propelled, rear-mounted-boom applicator with dual-position, adjustable crop clearance for use from pre-plant to tall crops.

-- Fendt 300 Vario Series Tractor. The Fendt 300 Vario includes four models ranging from 100 to 132 rated horsepower. The fourth generation Vario features the all-new smart power-boost concept Fendt DynamicPerformance (DP) on the Fendt 314 Vario which provides up to 10 rated horsepower more power on demand.

-- Fendt TI Headland K-Turn Assistant. It provides automated reverse turn capabilities (Y-turns and K-turns).

-- Massey Ferguson 8S Series Tractor. The 8S series tractor includes several new features including hydraulic and cooling improvements, and an aggressive styling scheme that all Massey Ferguson tractors will soon adopt.

-- Massey Ferguson DM 367 FQ-RC. The DM 367 is a front three-point hitch mounted mower with rubber conditioner rolls. The design of the mower linkage means the mower is "pulled" instead of "pushed" with the use of pulled bars, steering rods and cylinders.

-- Precision Planting Reveal. Reveal is an all-new frame-mounted, floating residue management system for row crop planters that uses a trailing, internal gauge wheel to control the depth of the cleaning tines and airbags that adjust the row cleaner's contact with the ground.

-- Precision Planting SmartDepth. SmartDepth is a depth calibration and control system for row crop planters that provides the ability to adjust planting depth from the cab of the tractor.

DEERE UPDATES 6RPORTFOLIO

John Deere has updated its 6R Tractor lineup with new 6R140 and 6R165 models. The 6R140 gives customers a fourth choice in the 110- to 140-horsepower small-frame class, while the 6R165 adds a third model to the mid-frame lineup of 145- to 165-horsepower tractors. With power bulge and Intelligent Power Management, the 6R 140 and 6R 165 Tractors deliver up to 166 and 212 maximum horsepower.

The optional John Deere Loader Technology Package offered for these tractors is designed to feed livestock or for using pallet forks. The package includes a Dynamic Weighing System (DWS), along with Level to Horizon (LTH) and Return to Position (RTP) features. DWS can weigh loads on the go. LTH allows operators to level an attachment parallel to uneven ground. RTP automatically returns the loader to a predefined boom and bucket position.

One other new feature: Machine information has been moved from the steering column to a digital display located on the tractor's corner post.

DEERE ADDS NEW CAPABILITIES TO COMPACT UTILITY TRACTORS

John Deere has added new material collection systems and a mechanical grapple to its line of Frontier equipment. The new PTO-driven Frontier MC2014 and MC2120 Material Collection Systems offer 14- and 20-bushel capacity respectively for John Deere 1, 2SC, 2LC and 3R Compact Utility Tractors. The new Frontier MG20F Mechanical Grapple is compatible with John Deere 120R, 220R and 300E Loaders.

The MC2014 and MC2120 come factory equipped with a hopper-fill site glass so operators can watch the fill level on the hopper while working.

The MG20F loader-attached mechanical grapple has a dump height of 53 inches or higher (depending on model) from the ground, the grapple features dump angles and ultra-wide grapple openings for maximum material removal.

CLAAS ADDS NEW HYDRAULICS TO THE JAGUAR AND PICK UP HEADER

CLAAS of America has designed a newly refined Pick Up head, designed for the Jaguar forage harvester. It features a variable, independent drive of the intake auger and pick-up reel that reduces fuel costs and improves pickup capacity.

The redesigned header takes an existing pickup reel and adds a new hydraulic drive, giving it greater adaptability in the field. This allows the pickup reel to be adjusted automatically to the ground speed to match harvest conditions and auger speed adjusted automatically to the feed roll speed. In challenging harvest conditions, both speeds can be adjusted manually from the cab, allowing even more accurate crop feeding and consistent crop flow overall.

To operate with the dual variable speed header concept, the Jaguar forage harvester is equipped with an optional dual hydraulic drive. While the dual variable speed header drive is designed specifically for use with JAGUAR 502 or 499 models, kits are available to fit other models.
