US Spot Ethanol Prices Mixed Early Tuesday
U.S. spot ethanol prices were mixed at the start of the short trade week, with deal-making scant early Tuesday as ethanol futures slide and the corn and RBOB gasoline contracts tumble.
In the physical market, prompt delivered ethanol at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in Chicago was assessed at $1.4975, up 0.75 cent. Trade sources pegged New York Harbor June barged ethanol at $1.60 per gallon, up 0.50 cent while Gulf Coast barged ethanol was pegged at $1.59 per gallon, up a penny.
