Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Prices Track Corn Futures Lower
Spot ethanol prices nudged lower in Chicago and New York Harbor during a thinly traded session Monday on moderate losses for Chicago Board of Trade corn futures. Trade volume, while increasing in the afternoon, remained extremely thin.
Prompt transfer ethanol at the Argo terminal in the Chicago market traded 0.5 cents lower at $1.48 per gallon, with March ethanol supply at the New York Harbor pegged 0.5 cent lower, at $1.5775 per gallon. The 2017 D6 RINs traded at 46.5 cents, 47.0 cents and 47.25 cents, up 1.15 cents on the session.
