Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Prices Track Corn, RBOB Futures Lower
U.S. spot ethanol prices eased Friday afternoon, with prompt supply at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in the Chicago market trading at $1.39, $1.3875 and $1.385 gallon for a loss of 1.50cts. March supply by barge at the New York Harbor traded at $1.49 gallon, down 2.0cts. Trade volume was thin.
The ethanol market pulled back on a massive selloff for the New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures, which fell nearly 10.0cts at one point, and with a sizeable decline in Chicago Board of Trade corn futures from a six-month high.
