Spot Ethanol Higher in Chicago, NYH Tuesday Afternoon
Spot ethanol prices in Chicago and the New York Harbor reversed higher Tuesday afternoon, boosted by modest gains for Chicago Board of Trade corn futures and seasonal strength for New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures. Prompt supply at the Kinder Morgan-operated Argo terminal in the Chicago market traded ten times during the aftermarket window at $1.465, $1.4675, $1.47 and $1.4725 gallon for a 1.25cts. At the Harbor, March barged ethanol was bid at $1.5675 gallon with an offer talked at $1.5725 gallon, up 1.0cts.
