Argo, NYH Spot Ethanol Weaker on Lower Corn, RBOB Futures

Spot ethanol prices were discussed weaker in Chicago and New York Harbor in early trade Monday morning, tracking a retreat by New York Mercantile Exchange May RBOB futures and Chicago Board of Trade corn futures.

In cash trade, prompt delivered ethanol at the Argo terminal in the Chicago market was talked at $1.635 gallon, down 1.5 cents. On the East Coast, an April delivered barge at the New York Harbor was talked at a $1.70 to $1.71 gallon bid/ask spread for a 2.0-cent loss. In renewable credits trade, 2017 D6 Renewable Identification Numbers changed hands early at 54.0 cents and 53.75 cents, down 0.25 cent and 2016 D6 RINs traded at 53.5 cents, down 0.25 cent.
