Spot Ethanol Prices Lifted by Short-term Demand
Chicago and New York Harbor spot ethanol prices traded higher again Monday, lifted by short-term blending demand and concern plant maintenance would reduce production and inventory.

On the East Coast, any March barged ethanol at the New York Harbor was talked at a $1.56 to $1.58 per gallon bid/ask, up 2.0 cents on the session. Arizona prompt ethanol supply was offered at $1.60 per gallon, with this week transport to northern California discussed at $1.63 per gallon, up 0.5 cent.
