Spot ethanol prices reversed higher in early afternoon trade Thursday on the back of higher Chicago Board of Trade corn futures that offset a large drop in New York Mercantile Exchange RBOB futures.

Prompt delivered ethanol at Argo supply hub in Chicago market traded at $1.455 gallon and seen this afternoon at $1.465 per gallon, for a 3.25-cents gain.

Chicago ethanol traded under Rule 11 for traded at $1.4475 per gallon for a 3.0-cent loss. New York Harbor September barges at the Harbor were pegged at $1.535 per gallon for a gain of 3.5 cents.
