Spot ethanol prices were shallowly mixed across the nation's main trade hubs on Wednesday, with prompt delivered supply at the Argo terminal in Chicago trading more than 10 times during the aftermarket window between $1.465 and $1.47 per gallon, ending flat.

Ethanol for March supply via barge in the New York Harbor traded at $1.5575 per gallon, down 0.25 cents. The price action followed mixed data by the Energy Information Administration showing U.S. ethanol supply rose 200,000 bbl or 0.9% to 23.0 million bbl during the week-ended Feb. 23, while plant production declined by 24,000 bpd, or 2.2%, to 1.044 million bpd.
