Spot ethanol prices reversed higher in early trade Friday in Chicago and the New York Harbor with a rebound for Chicago Board of Trade July corn futures amid oversold conditions after plunging 8% on Wednesday and Thursday.

In cash trade, prompt ethanol at the Argo terminal in the Chicago market was talked at a $1.525 to $1.54 per gallon bid/ask, 2.75 cents higher on the day. July delivered fuel ethanol at the New York Harbor was talked at a $1.60 to $1.625 per gallon bid/ask, up 1.75 cents on the session.
