Spot Ethanol Prices in Chicago Slip from Six-week High

Spot ethanol prices at the Kinder Morgan operated Argo terminal in Chicago declined in early discussion Monday, coinciding with lower corn futures traded on the Chicago Board of Trade. July corn futures were down 7.0 cents at $3.77 per bushel early afternoon.

Prompt delivered supply at Argo was talked at $1.53 per gallon, down 2.75 cents from the prior session and sliding 3.5 cents from Thursday's six-week high. Sources said offers for supply for mid-to-end week delivery were pegged at $1.54 per gallon. In the rail transport market, ethanol under Rule 11 terms was talked at $1.525 per gallon, down 1.5 cents.
