OMAHA (DTN) -- After the Sunday evening open, March corn is down 1 cent and January soybeans are down 7 1/4 cents. Central and southern Brazil received more rain over the weekend and so did Argentina with more rain expected this week. March KC wheat is up 1/4 cent and March Minneapolis wheat is up 1 cent. January crude oil is up $0.45 and Dow Jones futures are down 3 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.01 and February gold is up $23.60, trading at a new all-time high Sunday evening as more sources are starting to talk about a possibility for lower interest rates in 2024. Another issue sparking buying in gold is the scramble for China's large property developer, Evergrande, to find a restructuring deal that would allow the firm to avoid a court-ordered liquidation..
