DTN Weekly DDG Average Price Firm
MINNEAPOLIS (DTN) -- The DTN average price for domestic distillers dried grains (DDG) from 33 locations reporting for the week ended Dec. 13 was steady at $202 per ton on average versus one week ago. DDG prices were steady on average as the corn market was nearly unchanged versus one week ago, while lower plant production last week kept supplies stable.

The Energy Information Administration on Wednesday said overall ethanol production in the United States averaged 1.074 million barrels per day (bpd) in the week ended Dec. 8, down 2,000 bpd week-on-week, but 13,000 bpd, or 1.2%, higher than the same week last year. Four-week average output at 1.046 million bpd was 3,000 bpd below the same four weeks in 2022. Midwest ethanol production averaged 1.014 million bpd, down 6,000 bpd, week-on-week, and 13,000 bpd, or 1.3%, higher than in the same week last year. Four-week average output at 987,000 bpd was 3,000 bpd below the same four weeks in 2022.
