MINNEAPOLIS (DTN) -- The DTN average price for domestic distillers dried grains (DDG) from 35 locations reporting for the week ended Dec. 21 was $268 per ton, up $14 on average from one week ago. There were significant jumps in some states versus last week's prices, adding to the higher average.

DDG prices have turned higher as demand remains strong, especially during the extreme cold covering much of the U.S. and as cash corn continues to rise. The DTN National Corn Index is up 10 cents versus one week ago. The slowdown in production is also adding strength to prices as you can note below in the price table.
