Grains

OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 10:29 -- December corn is up 1 1/4 cents per bushel, January soybeans are up 1/2 cent, December KC wheat is down 3 1/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 4 cents and December MIAX wheat is down 4 3/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 12.06 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.640 and December crude oil is up $0.23 per barrel. December gold is down $42.10 per ounce. At mid-morning only corn remains slightly higher but in low volume, quiet trade. Wheat has moved close to a dime above the morning low, but all three markets are still down. It's a day that is devoid of much ag-related news.

Posted 08:31 -- December corn is steady, January soybeans are up 1/2 cent, December KC wheat is down 8 1/2 cents, December Chicago wheat is down 6 1/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is down 5 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 473.60 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.780 and December crude oil is up $0.09 per barrel. December gold is down $66.70 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported the following sales activities: 101,000 mt (4 mb) of corn to unknown destinations for 2026/2027 and 136,000 mt (5 mb) of soybeans to China for 2026/2027. Corn and soy are slightly firmer, while wheat is under pressure on a combination of weak exports and the impending trilateral peace effort next week to end the Black Sea war.

Livestock

Posted-- 8:30-- December live cattle are down $1.00 at $213.4, January feeder cattle are down $1.43 at $318.9, December lean hogs are down $0.40 at $54.7, December corn is up 1 cent per bushel and December soybean meal is up $1.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 520.88 points and the NASDAQ is up 274.52 points. The livestock complex is again off to a weaker start as frankly there just hasn't been enough support in this week's market to allow traders to confidently push the contracts higher. No bids are on the table for the fed cash cattle market right now, but some light clean up trade could develop throughout the day.
