Periodic Updates on the Grains, Livestock Futures Markets
OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 08:32 -- December corn is up 1 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 14 1/4 cents, December KC wheat is up 2 3/4 cents, December Chicago wheat is up 4 1/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 1 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 279.27 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.180 and October crude oil is up $2.28 per barrel. December gold is down $84.40 per ounce. USDA: Private exporters reported sales of 136,000 metric tons (5 million bushels) of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2026/2027 marketing year. Grain and soy markets are higher led by soybeans and soybean oil. Falling crop ratings and a concerning hot and dry forecast ahead, along with an EPA ruling are driving forces.
