OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 12:40 -- December corn is up 19 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 13 1/4 cents, September KC wheat is up 27 3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 23 1/2 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 14 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 29.83 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.150 and September crude oil is down $0.09 per barrel. December gold is up $24.00 per ounce. Heading for the midweek close, corn and wheat markets are sharply higher and soybeans and soy products are also very firm. Black Sea export problems are impacting wheat and corn, while the August WASDE proved to be bullish corn even with the higher acres as yield fell from 183 bpa to 180.7 bpa.

Posted 10:30 -- December corn is up 9 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 8 cents, September KC wheat is up 30 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 25 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 18 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is down 2.50 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.010 and September crude oil is up $0.03 per barrel. December gold is up $42.50 per ounce. At midmorning wheat is flying higher on the Black Sea news and on ideas that Russian and Ukraine export estimates could fall in USDA's WASDE report. Corn, soybeans and soymeal are all higher as well 30 minutes before the report release.

Posted 08:31 -- December corn is up 3 1/4 cents per bushel, November soybeans are up 2 1/2 cents, September KC wheat is up 22 3/4 cents, September Chicago wheat is up 16 3/4 cents and December MIAX wheat is up 12 1/4 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 64.77 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.140 and September crude oil is down $0.14 per barrel. December gold is up $33.40 per ounce. USDA: private exporters reported sales of 244,000 metric tons (9 mb) of soybeans for delivery to China during the 2026-27 marketing year. Grain and soy markets led by wheat are higher early Wednesday. Strength in wheat is coming from Ukraine's massive drone attack on Russia's primary export terminals.

Livestock

Posted 11:40 -- October live cattle are down $2.08 at $224.25, September feeder cattle are down $4.75 at $340.5, October lean hogs are up $0.80 at $84.125, December corn is up 11 1/2 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $1.80. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 35.66 points and the NASDAQ is up 139.07 points. Some light cash cattle trade has developed in Nebraska at $368 which is $2.00 lower than last week's weighted average -- but not enough cattle have sold to say that any sort of a trend has been established for the week just yet. Otherwise no bids are on the table and the market remains quiet.

Posted 08:33 -- October live cattle are down $0.13 at $226.2, September feeder cattle are down $0.53 at $344.725, October lean hogs are down $0.15 at $83.175, December corn is up 3 1/2 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $1.20. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 109.36 points and the NASDAQ is up 233.10 points. The livestock complex is off to a mostly lower start as traders desire to see greater fundamental support.
