Grains

OMAHA (DTN) -- Posted 19:09 on 6/28 -- July corn is down 3 3/4 cents, and July soybeans are down 6 1/2 cents. July KC wheat is unchanged, July Chicago wheat is down 2 1/4 cents, and July MIAX Minneapolis wheat is up 3/4 cents. August crude oil is up $0.33, and Dow Jones futures are up 163 points. The U.S. Dollar Index is down 0.01, and August gold is down $27.40. Row-crop futures are weaker to open trade on Sunday evening, despite a heatwave ahead for the U.S. Grain Belt as well as continued above-average heat across Europe. Traders are showing very little concern for growing U.S. crops after June was a very good month overall for moisture across the Belt. In outside market news, the U.S. and Iran exchanged attacks through the weekend in the Strait of Hormuz but agreed on Sunday to cease further strikes. Crude oil is fractionally higher to begin the week, though that is currently offering little support to the row-crop sector.
