Posted 10:37 -- December corn is down 1 1/2 cents per bushel, November soybeans are down 6 1/4 cents per bushel. September KC wheat is down 3 cents per bushel, September Chicago wheat is down 3/4 cent per bushel and September Minneapolis wheat is down 1/4 cent. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 575.18 points at 39,338.63. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.100 at 103.30 and September crude oil is up $0.90 per barrel at $76.13. At mid-morning amid quiet trade, grain and soy markets have moved into the red, with the exception being bean oil. November beans made a new contract low, with September beans now below $10.00.

September KC wheat is up 1 3/4 cents per bushel, September Chicago wheat is up 2 3/4 cents per bushel and September Minneapolis wheat is up 2 1/2 cents. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 211.91 points at 38,975.36. The U.S. Dollar Index is up 0.230 at 103.43 and September crude oil is down $0.00 per barrel at $75.23. In slow trade, corn and soybeans are slightly higher while wheat markets are very firm. Weather is mostly favorable for row crops and yield estimates are leaning toward record yields in both crops.

Livestock

OMAHA (DTN) -- October live cattle are down $0.78 at $178.50, September feeder cattle are down $0.50 at $238.40, October lean hogs are down $1.20 at $73.375, December corn is down 2 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is down $0.10. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 560.80 points. Bids are currently being offered in the South at $185 to $186, and in the North at $193 live and $300 to $305 dressed. More trade will likely develop ahead of the day's end. Asking prices remain firm at $188 to $190 in the South and $308 plus in the North.

Posted 08:32 -- October live cattle are up $0.08 at $179.35, September feeder cattle are up $0.50 at $239.40, October lean hogs are down $0.90 at $73.675, December corn is up 1 1/4 cents per bushel and December soybean meal is up $2.40. The Dow Jones Industrial Average is up 220.37 points. Beef net sales of 10,000 mt for 2024 were down 43% from the previous week and 27% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were South Korea (3,900 mt), Japan (1,900 mt) and Mexico (1,200 mt). Pork net sales of 34,600 mt for 2024 were up 10% from the previous and 24% from the prior 4-week average. The three largest buyers were Mexico (14,800 mt), China (7,400 mt) and Japan (2,900 mt).
