IOWA, Bremer County. Land totaling 197 acres sold at auction in two tracts for $3.26 million. The first tract sold for $16,775 per acre; the second sold for $16,350 per acre. Average price across the whole property was $16,548. The property was described as tiled farmland, with CSR2 ratings near 90. KANSAS, Thomas and Rawlins Counties. Cropland and grass totaling 590 acres sold for $1.58 million. The property sold in three tracts, with prices ranging from $1,850 to $4,100 per acre. The average price across the whole property was $2,678. The property was mostly grassland but included bases in wheat and corn. It also came with a calving shed and other cattle-working facilities. SOUTH DAKOTA, Clay County. Highly productive farmland totaling about 183 acres sold at auction for $1.34 million, or an average of $7,322 per acre. The property sold in two parcels, one at $7,700 per acre and the other at $6,900 per acre. Of the total, 179 acres were crop acres, and 90 of those were irrigated. The farm held base acres in corn and soybeans, and was made up of Luton silty Clay and Blencoe silty clay type soils. It sold to one buyer.
