DTN Daily Basis Comments

DAILY BASIS AND CASH INDEX SUMMARY:

The national average basis for corn was 2 cents weaker at 61 cents over the September futures contract while the DTN National Corn Index was up 9 unchanged at $6.30. The national average basis for soybeans was 5 cents weaker at 3 cents under the November futures contract while the DTN National Soybean Index was up 20 cents at $13.62. The national average basis for HRW wheat was unchanged at 13 cents under the September futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Winter Wheat Index was up 4 cents at $7.30. The national average basis for HRS wheat was 1 cent weaker at 14 cents under the September futures contract while the DTN National Hard Red Spring Wheat Index was up 11 cents at $9.30.

The national average corn basis for Friday is at 61 cents over the September futures, 2 cents weaker than Thursday's basis.

SOYBEANS:

The national average soybean basis for Friday is at 3 cents under the November futures, 5 cents weaker than Thursday's basis.

SOFT RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average SRW wheat basis for Friday is at 44 cents under the September futures, 2 cents stronger than Thursday's basis.

HARD RED WINTER WHEAT:

The national average HRW wheat basis for Friday is at 13 cents under the Kansas City September futures, unchanged from Thursday's basis.

HARD RED SPRING WHEAT:

The national average HRS wheat basis for Friday is at 14 cents under the Minneapolis September futures, 1 cent weaker than Thursday's basis.
