Spot Ethanol Prices Lifted by Hope for Stronger Demand

Spot ethanol prices rose Tuesday amid a brighter prospect for blending demand and expectations for a drawdown in domestic ethanol supply.

Prompt Argo ethanol traded higher 1.0 cent at $1.44 per gallon, while New York Harbor barges rose 1.5 cents to $1.56 per gallon and Arizona ethanol changed hands at $1.625 per gallon for a 1.5-cents gain.
