EIMA Farm Machinery Show Hosted 270000 Visitors

High Tech and Eco Friendly

EIMA 2021 International Exhibition in Bologna, Italy (Greg Lamp)

Air seeders. Robotic lawn mowers. Methane tractors. Solar power panels. That's just a snapshot of the more than 1,350 exhibits displayed at the recent EIMA 2021 International Exhibition, held at Bologna, Italy.

Truly international, the five-day, mostly indoor show features machinery, equipment and components for agriculture and landscaping from 350 foreign exhibitors across 40 countries. More than 270,000 visitors got to kick the tires on machinery and grill the experts about their new equipment and technologies.

EIMA is the International Exposition of Machinery for Agriculture and Gardening, a biennial event sponsored by FederUnacoma, the Italian Agricultural Machinery Manufacturers Federation, similar to the Association of Equipment Manufacturers in the U.S. It's held every other year in rotation with Agritechnica, another well-known large ag technology trade fair held in northern Europe, at Hanover, Germany.

Agritechnica will be held Feb. 23 to March 5, 2022, and EIMA Nov. 9 to 13, 2022, to get back to the traditional rotation after COVID-19 challenges.
