The seed footprint of AgReliant Genetics is expanding in the northwestern Corn Belt.

Part of the third-largest seed corn company in North America, AgReliant Genetics’ AgriGold brand has an 80-year corn history and a territory that has been concentrated in Illinois, Indiana, Iowa, Kansas, Kentucky, Michigan, Minnesota, Mississippi, Missouri, Nebraska, Ohio, Tennessee and Wisconsin. AgriGold launched a soybean business in 2017.

New expansion plans include opening an additional research station in Sioux Falls, South Dakota, and an increased testing network focused on geographically targeted germplasm evaluation in the medium to early maturity ranges.

John Kermicle, AgriGold general manager, says the announcement expands sales and research efforts further west in Iowa, Minnesota and Nebraska, and adds new territories in North Dakota and South Dakota.

KWS and Groupe Limagrain own AgReliant Genetics.
