INDIANA, Porter County. Farmland totaling 136 acres sold at auction for $1.4 million. The operation sold to a single buyer for an average price of $10,294 per acre. The property was described as level, mostly tillable, productive farmland and had been used to produce corn and soybeans. ILLINOIS, Henry County. Productive, tillable farmland totaling 211 acres, with road frontage, sold at online auction for $2.26 million. The property had 2021 corn yields of 244 bushels per acre on average and 202 FSA cropland acres. The land was leased for the 2022 and 2023 crop years. Average per-acre price was $10,711. IOWA, Page County. Farmland totaling 155.6 acres sold in a timed, online auction for $1.03 million. The buyer received a credit for 2022 rent at time of closing. KANSAS, Pratt County. A 320-acre farmstead with cropland and grassland sold at absolute auction for $635,000. The land property, which included two wind towers, sold in three tracts, with tract prices ranging from $1,650 to $2,450 per acre. Average across the whole was about $1,984 per land acre. This did not include the home, which sold as a separate tract. About 177 acres were dryland crop ground and 117 acres grassland. NORTH DAKOTA, Ward County. Family trusts sold 964 acres of farmland near the Minot Air Force Base. The land held bases in wheat, flax, canola and barley.
