Wood Hauler (Progressive Farmer image by Ray A. Watkins Jr.)

WOOD HAULER (Editor's Choice):

George Thornton, Gray, Georgia, uses a section of an old hay ring to stack and haul firewood. No modifications to the ring are required. He merely slides his tractor's hayfork under the ring section for transport of cut wood.

PORTABLE DISPENSER:

Lloyd Skifter, Grand Mound, Minnesota, mounted a paper towel holder into an open-faced wooden box for work in his dairy barn. He fastened a bent 3/8-inch rod through a hole cut into the top of the box. Then, he hung the dispenser box from a rack that runs the length of his dairy barn. He moves it down the aisle as he works his cows.
